New passengers. New mysteries. New Infinity Train! What’s in the next train car? Will Tulip find a way off this mysterious train and return home?

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the DVD, which I am reviewing in this blog post. The opinions I share are my own.

Owen Dennis is known for his work as a writer and as a storyboard artist on “Regular Show” on the Cartoon Network.

And now his animated series which he created premiered with great fanfare in August 2019 and the second season followed in 2020 and is now available on DVD.

Book two features 10 episodes, with each episode lasting about 11 minutes each and with two seasons having aired on television and the second episode featuring the reflection of season one’s character, Tulip, with the reflection going by the name of “MT”.

MT has been a fugitive on the Infinity Train, trying to escape from the reflection police and looks at herself independent from Tulip, shaving off her head and joining Jesse Cosay (another passenger) and a magical shape-shifting white-tailed deer named Alan Dracula.

And what happens when they come across a gang of passengers known as the Apex, led by their leader Grace Monroe and her second-in-command, Simon Laurent.

“Infinity Train” is a series less about teenage angst but focused on independence, freedom and friendship.

As “Book Two” shifts from Tulip to MT, MT is trying to separate herself and to prove to others that she is her own person, while others such as the Reflection Police think she’s a reflection that should be killed.

She and Jesse have a rocky start but they become comrades, as Jesse learns how to be a protector, while MT treats Alan Dracula as an animal that should live in freedom and not captivity.

While the first season was exciting, I feel that I enjoyed season two even more.  The character’s backs are against the wall, especially MT who no one cares about except for her friends Jesse and the deer, Alan Dracula.

I felt with the first season, so much of Tulip’s emotions were due to her family problems which affected her, but this time around, MT’s all about wanting to be her own person, to make her own decision and if she is reflection of Tulip, she is not Tulip.  And without a number to be on the train, she needs to find her way off the train.

Similar to “Book One”, there is a character that is introduced, that will become the main character in season 3.

Creator Owen Dennis continues to showcase a strong female character, who is not perfect but she is wanting her own independence. I also like the characters accompanying MT this season, not to say the corgi was bad or anything but I liked the character progression, the action and overall storyline of the second compared to the first.

But overall, because of its dark, adventurous and humorous storyline, Owen Dennis’ “Infinity Train” is a fun, unique animated series that will entertain audiences. And for those who don’t like long animated series, will find “Infinity Train” to their liking.
