The band taking the #1 spot on BBC Radio 1’s UK Singles Charts is the boy band The Wanted, a British-Irish group based in London put together by Jayne Collins of The Saturdays and are produced by Guy Chambers, Taio Cruz and Steve Mac.
The group consists of Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes and the bursted onto the music scene with their debut single “All Time Low” in August 2010 and grabbed the #1 spot.
Their new single “Glad You Came” is the group’s fifth single and achieved #1 both in the UK and in Ireland and is the second track of their second upcoming album. Here is the music video “Glad You Came” from The Wanted:
