Another consecutive year that my Dallas Cowboys have come short.
But I have to admit that this year or moreso, this final game to end their season with that devastating loss against the Philadelphia Eagles was much more easier to take in.
In 2006, we had the botched field goal, in 2007 we lost against the Giants and in 2008, it was a year of inconsistency. The truth is that the Cowboys had control of their destiny and somehow that inconsistency caught up with them. There is no explanation to see the Cowboys lose 44-6, there is no explanation how they could have two running backs score from the Baltimore Ravens score two final touchdowns against them (when they had that chance to win), there is no explanation why our offensive talent hardly got the ball.
There are problems right now. There have to be changes in the offseason. There needs to be discipline. There needs to be leadership. Problems were exposed since the loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. No more excuses!
Mr. Jones, please bring in Bill Cowher! It’s time for change!
