In Monday’s episode of “The Hills” (Season 4, episode 07) titled “When Lauren’s Away”, Lauren leaves to Italy for work.
After several episodes of the friendship between Lauren and Audrina having problems because Audrina was getting closer to her on-and-off again fling Justin and Lauren was spending more time with Laguna Beach high school buddy Lo, the friendship seemed to be deteriorating because Audrina and Lo were too different and couldn’t get along. Fortunately, Lauren and Audrina were able to rekindle their friendship and work through their problems.
In episode 7, more problems continue as when Lauren leaves to Italy, her good friend Stephanie is asked on a date by Lauren’s former fling Doug.
For those who are not familiar with the show, Stephanie is the sister of Spencer Pratt. The boyfriend of Lauren’s frienemy Heidi. Lauren has been warned about Stephanie but Lauren, believing the good in people gave her a chance.
Another interesting situation in this episode is that Audrina and Lo hang out together. Who would of thought that these two would hang out with each other? Especially when they acknowledge that they have nothing in common. Nevertheless, I give them kudos for trying to become friends, afterall they are roommates.
But with Stephanie going out on a date with Doug, how will Lauren take the news that her former fling and her good friend are dating.
As for the overall episode, a bit surprised that Stephanie made that decision to even go out on a date with a guy that her friend was formerly dating. But it doesn’t surprise me. Expect some fireworks next episode and with the trailer for the next episode featuring a possible confrontation with Heidi’s mother and Spencer. This is going to be interesting.
