DVD REVIEW:

I admit that I don’t really know too much about The Corrs. I’m a late fan and this started with their performance of “Breathless”. I just fell in love with their music and also loved watching the lead singer that I couldn’t wait to purchase their first DVD with their music from their first two albums.

Anyway, the video is nice and clear and the audio sounds great via Digital 5.1. Unfortunately, there are no special features aside from discography and the menu selections. I wish their were angle selections or music videos but this is from 1998 and not many special DVD’s were out at that time, so I forgive this DVD. Anyway, it’s still better than the VHS version because it does take advantage of Digital 5.1 and thus you will feel like you have a front row seat.

You’ll even enjoy the special guest – Mick Fleetwood as he performs three songs with the family quartet. Especially a Corrs version of “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.

Many people consider The Corrs the best band to come from Ireland since U2 (what about the Cranberries?)

Anyway, after watching this DVD, I like their music even more and can’t wait to purchase their CD’s or wait for their DVD audio release of their third album.
