NEW YORK, Feb. 24, 2011 – The cast of the much-talked-about new Broadway musical, “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark,” will make their first late night talk show performance on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Tuesday, March 1 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The lavish and technically complex production, the most expensive musical in Broadway history, is based on the Marvel Comics’ character Spider-Man created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. Featuring music and lyrics by U2’s Bono and The Edge, and directed by Tony Award winner Julie Taymor, “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” is currently in previews at the Foxwoods Theater on Broadway, with its opening night scheduled for March 15.
