THE DISNEY/ABC TELEVISION GROUP RECEIVES EIGHT DAYTIME EMMY® AWARDS AT THE 39TH ANNUAL DAYTIME ENTERTAINMENT EMMY AWARDS
For his role as Luke Spencer on ABC’s “General Hospital,” Anthony Geary was honored with his seventh Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Lead Actor category, making him the most honored actor in Daytime Emmy history, breaking his own record. Nancy Lee Grahn was honored with her first Daytime Emmy for her portrayal of Alexis Davis in the Supporting Actress category with a previous win in 1989. For his role as Lucky Spencer on “General Hospital,” Jonathan Jackson took home his fifth Daytime Emmy award, his second as Outstanding Supporting Actor.
