“LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” airs new shows all summer long, and this July, four special themed weeks offer a combination of fun, entertainment and great information.
On July 4, the popular morning talk show will kick off a week devoted to a variety of hot weather topics during SUMMER IN THE CITY WEEK. A wide range of experts will join Regis and Kelly outside the “LIVE” studio to share tips for getting the most out of the season – wet and wild toys that are perfect for cooling off in the heat, the best sunglasses for blocking out the summer rays, frosty blender drinks, safe, sunless tanning, plus a unique take on grilling from innovative New York chef Paul Liebrandt.
Even those in the best relationships admit there are things about their partners that drive them crazy, and the week of July 11-15, during FIX MY MAN WEEK, Regis and Kelly will come to the rescue. Viewers from all over the country have written to the show, asking for help in fixing that one annoying attribute of their man that makes them nuts. “LIVE” has selected six guys to come to NY with their gals to showcase their “fixes” live on the air.
They’ve worked the drive-through line at McDonald’s, learned how to milk goats, changed tires, filled in behind the counter at Starbucks, and now it’s that time again: REGIS AND KELLY DO IT WEEK returns. “LIVE’s” dynamic duo again will step out to learn some new skills, but this year there’s an added twist – the experts sharing their knowledge will be the stars of some of today’s most popular reality shows, from TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” and “Cake Boss” to Food Network’s “Iron Chef America,” The Style Network show “Jerseylicious” and HGTV’s “Selling New York.”
The week of July 25-29, five lucky viewers will get a whole new look when “LIVE” presents a week of RESCUE ME AMBUSH MAKEOVERS. Viewers coast-to-coast are reaching out in hopes of being “ambushed” for a head-to-toe transformation courtesy of “LIVE” and the show’s team of beauty experts, with one stunning result revealed each day on the air.
As always, Regis and Kelly will welcome a stellar lineup of guests throughout the month, including Justin Timberlake, “Harry Potter” stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint, Jennifer Aniston, Mila Kunis, Larry David and Heidi Klum.
