“ignorance”, the long awaited single release from the rock band Paramore is finally here!

And what an enjoyable single to get us ready for the band’s third full-length album “Brand New Eyes” (slated for a September 2009 release).

The Grammy Award nominated band from Tennessee consists of Hayley Williams (lead vocalist/keyboard), Josh Farro (lead guitar and background vocals), Jeremy Davis (bass guitar), Zac Farro (drums) and Taylor York (rhythm/lead guitar).

The band definitely came out fierce with their second album “Riot!” which grabbed the attention of American and UK media in 2007 and in 2008, garnered even more fans as the band’s music was featured in the film “Twilight” and their song “Decode” was the lead single from the soundtrack (their other song “I Caught Myself” was also featured on the album).

The band released a live album titled “The Final Riot!” not long after and then began planning and recording songs for their upcoming album “Brand New Eyes” which was produced by Rob Cavallo (producer for Green Day, Avril Lavigne and My Chemical Romance).

With the release of their ninth single “ignorance”, the track is just literally fabulous and definitely enjoy the musical direction. If you thought the band was awesome with their songs in 2007, the band takes their music up a bar because “innocent” is just awesome!

Upbeat, rock driven, guitar churning and overall, addictive and simply a solid track. Vocally, Hayley Williams strikes an awesome balance with the music. Heavy hitting, beautiful and pleasing.

Personally, after listening to this track, it definitely made me excited for their upcoming album. “Riot!” was simply an awesome album but their new digital single “ignorance” is definitely a track that left me wanting to hear their upcoming work for their new album.

Overall, a solid single from the band and a magnificent release from Paramore!
