NEW YORK – July 18, 2012 – Oxygen Media’s powerful and thought-provoking new docu-series “I’m Having Their Baby” premieres on Monday, July 23 at 11 PM ET/PT. This series gives viewers an intimate look into the world of adoption by telling the too-often untold story of the birth mother and her experience in making this difficult and emotional choice. Each hour-long episode follows two pregnant women who have made the choice to place their babies for adoption and are making the life changing decisions that come next. However diverse the case, there is one thing that’s common – each woman wants the brightest future for her unborn child and a better life for herself. The series premiere chronicles Mary, a 25-year old wife in Mulberry, Florida, who five years into her marriage has learned of her husband’s desire to get a divorce. Both hurt and confused, she had an affair which led to an unplanned pregnancy. Now, Mary faces the dilemma of trying to save her marriage or raising her first child as a single mom. Meanwhile, the second story follows Claudia, a Haitian born woman who was adopted by an American family when she was 10 years old. After going through a rebellious phase, Claudia ended up pregnant by a boyfriend she’d been dating for only one month. Wanting more for herself and her unborn child, Claudia feels that adoption is the right choice.

“I’m Having Their Baby” is produced by executive producers Michael Rourke and Michelle Kongkasuwan for Hud:sun Media.
