“LIVE! WITH REGIS AND KELLY” PRESENTS “LIVE’S HALLOWEEN HEADLINERS BALL” (October 31, 2011)

2011 Edition of the Show’s Renowned Halloween Spectacular to Be Co-Hosted by Nick Lachey

Guests Include Heidi Klum and AnnaLynne McCord, Plus 23 Additional Celebrity Cameos

New York, NY — On October 31st, “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly’s” highly-anticipated Halloween spectacular returns. This year popular singer and host Nick Lachey will be the guest co-host for “LIVE’s Halloween Headliners Ball,” with co-host Kelly Ripa.

In 2010 popular websites The Huffington Post and AOL TV each wrote, “Nobody does Halloween like Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa,” and this year will be no exception. Viewers can expect all of the excitement, thrills, laughs — and maybe a pop culture ghoul or two — that Halloween on “LIVE” has to offer.

“LIVE’s Halloween Headliners Ball” opens with a fantastic flash mob production number, shot on location at New York’s iconic Lincoln Center, with Ripa and Lachey and more than 100 flash mobbers. And then the spooky fun begins. From “Dancing with the Stars” to “Toddlers & Tiaras,” Kelly, Nick and the rest of the “LIVE” crew will put the spotlight on many of this year’s biggest headlines and most talked-about shows, donning nearly 40 costumes along the way. Celebrity weddings, Charlie Sheen and the over-the-top reality stars of “Jersey Shore” also will get the “LIVE” Halloween treatment; supermodel Heidi Klum and “90210” star AnnaLynne McCord will get dressed up and join in on all the ghostly hijinks; and 23 celebrities will make surprise cameos throughout the hour-long show.

Plus, “LIVE’s” Halloween extravaganza would not be complete without a Halloween costume contest. Each member of the audience that morning will be in costume from head-to-toe because one lucky person will win the grand prize of $10,000 to HomeGoods.

“LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” is executive produced by Michael Gelman, and is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Produced by WABC-TV in New York, “LIVE! with Regis and Kelly” airs every weekday morning in more than 200 markets across the country.
