It’s not too difficult to find at retail as there is a major push for the LEGO CITY police and fire dept. at retail, so finding it at a Target or possibly a Wal-Mart may not be so difficult. You can always find it online for a good price as well! An excellent addition to the LEGO CITY Fire Dept., the LEGO CITY – Fire Motorcycle (60000) is recommended!

THE REVIEW:

LEGO is known to have had an extensive amount of fire department related vehicles and sets created in the past few decades and one fire department related vehicle that many will find at retail is the “LEGO CITY – Fire Motorcycle (60000)” impulse set for $6.99.

In several countries, especially cities with a lot of congestion, fire bikes are common as they can easily zip through traffic and get to small fires or emergencies immediately.

The box cover features a LEGO CITY fire dept. motor bike rider seeing a trash bin on fire and fortunately he has a fire extinguisher that will hopefully put those flames out.

While the motorcycle build is not far off from other LEGO motorcyles, this one is all red with a sticker logo on the front and for the most part, stays consistent with the LEGO CITY fire dept. sets in terms of its red, white, blue and yellow colors.

You do get a number of extra accessories, which is a plus.  But for $6.99, you get a figure, a motorcycle, a trash bin with flames and for those looking for flame parts, you get three pieces of flames that can be used.  You also get an extra visor for the helmet.

The Minifigure has printing on both sides which is a plus and the face is also a pretty cool head that can be utilized for other characters with its gruff, stubbly, no-nonsense appearance.

Poor LEGO CITY, so dangerous with its criminals trying to steal a painting at a museum, the LEGO police has so much going on with the many crimes going in the city and now some jerk had to go out and start fires in a trash bin.  Fortunately, we have someone from LEGO CITY’s fire department come via his Fire Motorcycle to hopefully save the day.

There is a good amount of playability and I feel that the $6.99 pricepoint makes this set so appealing because you are getting a lot for the price (as all these extra accessories tend to be featured in the $9.99 or higher price point).
