LEVI JOHNSTON MAKES HIS FIRST APPEARANCE ON “THE VIEW”, LIVE, OCT. 18

Bill Geddie, executive producer of ABC’s Emmy® award-winning talk show, “The View,” announced today that Levi Johnston, who is planning a run for Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska and star of the forthcoming reality series, “Loving Levi: The Road to the Mayor’s Office,” will make his first appearance on the show, live, MONDAY, OCTOBER 18 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET).

Wasilla’s mayoral chair isn’t up for election until 2012. In the meantime, 20-year-old Johnston is in the process of completing his GED. The reality series promises to be an unrestrained look into his life as a potential candidate, father to his son Tripp, skilled hunter and enthusiastic dirt biker who is searching for love and taking care of business for his fellow Wasillians.

“The View” features Daytime Emmy Award-winning hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. It’s the original forum in which real women discuss everyday issues, share their opinions and engage in colorful conversations. “The View,” broadcast in HDTV and produced in 2-channel stereo sound, is now available to watch online daily at 4:00 p.m., ET/1:00 p.m., PT on the ABC Digital Full Episode Player at ABC.com. “The View” is produced by ABC Daytime and Ms. Walters’ Barwall Productions, with Ms. Walters serving as executive producer along with Bill Geddie, who also serves as executive producer for “The Barbara Walters Specials.” “The View” is directed by Mark Gentile.
