Actor Leslie Nielsen has passed away. The actor was taken to a hospital for pneumonia two weeks ago but the infection gradually increased in the last 48 hours and Leslie passed away on Sunday at 5:34 p.m.
Leslie’s nephew Doug Nielsen told a Canadian radio station (CKNW), “Just in this last 48 hours, the infection has gotten too much. He just fell asleep and passed away.”
Nielsen will always be known for his “Naked Gun” films, “Airplane!” and his appearance on many television shows.
