Sure, we may be based in the California but the cool thing about what we do at J!-ENT is cover entertainment worldwide and a crew that has caught our attention since early this year is a dance crew from Australia known as Justice Crew.

The group which consists of Emmanuel Rodriguez, Samson Smith, Omar Kamara, Len John Ruela Pearce, John Len Ruela Pearce, Lukas Bellesini, Paulie Merciadez and Solo Tohi won “Australia’s Got Talent” in 2010 and were awarded a recording contract with Sony Music Australia. The group has released three CD singles “And Then We Dance”, “Friday to Sunday” and “Dance with Me” featuring Flo Rida.
Needless to say, since winning the competition, this group is red hot in Australia. Doing commercial for Swisse, a campaign for Sly and even was a support act for Chris Brown’s Australian F.A.M.E. Tour. Members of the group also showed up to Las Vegas for the World Hip Hop Championship Prelims 2009.
But also dancing has kept these individuals out of trouble.
In an interview with New Idea Magazine, Lukas Bellesini told the publication, “If I didn’t have dancing I guarantee I’d have been in a much worse position. Dancing pushes you further away from other stuff. It keeps you healthy and out of trouble”.
Since posting a video of the group on Facebook, I’ve been asked about this group and to tell you the truth, I really don’t know much about them but what information everyone else can find on the Internet but what I do know is that these guys have worked hard, have been persistent in making b-boy part of the mainstream and giving it recognition in Australia but doing what the love, making it happen for them.Â
And also possibly being an inspiration to others around the world of what they have been able to accomplish.
Sure, we hear about our dance crews here in the U.S. and crews from Europe and East Asia but for our spotlight for the week, we have to applaud Justice Crew for what they accomplished thus far! They may be in Australia but I’m sure they know that many of us all around the world are watching them!
