Jeff Conaway may be known for his role in “Grease” and “Taxi”, but in recent years, his life of his addictions to cocaine, alcohol and painkillers have been well-documented in the VH1 show “Celebrity Rehab” and Dr. Drew Pinsky has been doing all he can to help him.
But last week, Conaway collapsed according to his rep because of “the use of painkillers and prescription drugs”.
On Friday, it looked promising that Conaway may be doing well when Dr. Drew tweeted, “Just visited Jeff Conaway.He is stable & looks like he will recover from his pneumonia.Not an OD like press is alleging & certainly not dead.”
On Saturday, Dr. Drew clarified why he collapsed as “Right. Pneumonia with sepsis. No evidence of intentional OD”.
And as of 17 hours ago, Dr. Drew tweeted, “My hopes & prayers r with him & his family! #jeffconawayâ€yes,we all need to pray for him.Not doing well today suddenly”.
