GEORGE GRAY NAMED NEW ANNOUNCER OF “THE PRICE IS RIGHT”

Emmy Award-Nominated Television Host and Comedian Joins the Longest-Running

Game Show in Television History

Emmy Award-nominated Television host and comedian George Gray has been named the new announcer of the multiple Emmy Award-winning THE PRICE IS RIGHT, joining the longest-running game show in television history during its 39th season on the CBS Television Network.

“We are thrilled to have George Gray joining our team as the new THE PRICE IS RIGHT announcer,” said executive producer Mike Richards. “He is a world class talent and we are lucky to have him. Not only does he have a great voice, he brings energy and enthusiasm to every show.”

Gray started his career as a stand-up/sketch comedian and is best known for hosting such television shows as “The Weakest Link” and “Junkyard Wars,” the latter landing him an Emmy Award nomination. Other television credits include “What’s With That House,” “I’d Do Anything,” “Gimme My Reality Show” and “Car Science.”

“I am really excited to join THE PRICE IS RIGHT family. Being only the fourth full-time announcer in 39 years is an amazing honor,” said George Gray. “As my dad always liked to say, ‘no pressure!'”
