FABRIC RECORDS TO RELEASE DEBUT LP FROM UK DUBSTEP TRAILBLAZER CASPA

EVERYBODY’S TALKING, NOBODY’S LISTENING TO BE RELEASED NOVEMBER 24th ON FABRIC RECORDS/SUB SOLDIERS

SELECT NORTH AMERICAN DJ DATES TO BEGIN SEPTEMBER 18th

The UK underground cause célèbre turned genre-ambassador Caspa is poised to smuggle dubstep into North America by the crate-full with his debut LP Everybody’s Talking, Nobody’s Listeningz (out November 24th on Fabric Records/Sub Soldiers), along with a string of dates throughout the continent.  Already among the most influential and widely recognized dubstep artists his native UK, Caspa made his name with a shockingly consistent streak of celebrated singles and high profile remixes.  Including his monster single “The Takeover”, Caspa has delivered notable remixes for Depeche Mode, Miike Snow, Kid Sister and Deadmau5/Kaskade, as well as running the essential Dub Police and Sub Soldiers labels.

Everybody’s Talking will certainly excite the dubstep scholars who have fueled the deafening level of hype surrounding the West London-born DJ.  For North American dubstep enthusiasts, who long ago resorted to hunting down bits and pieces of the UK underground phenomenon on peer-to-peer networks and internet message boards, the official domestic release of Caspa’s debut LP will be cause for unfettered excitement.  Perhaps most importantly, the album will serve as a whirlwind initiation for North American audiences unfamiliar with the genre’s dark, bass-driven 2-step sound.  Ambitiously covering the full spectrum of the genre, the album delivers big room, peak-hour bangers like “Marmite” and “The Takeover” to tracks like the sexed-up, grinding love affair of “Lon-Don City.”

To truly get the dubstep experience, one must see it live.  For those who have never witnessed it on a full club soundsystem, there is no better DJ than Caspa to give an introduction.
