ELEVEN SHOWS ORDERED FROM ABC STUDIOS FOR THE 2016-17 SEASON

ABC Picks Up “Still Star-Crossed” and “American Housewife” From ABC Studios

CBS Renews ABC Studios Dramas “Code Black,” “Criminal Minds” and “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders”

ABC Also Picks Up New Co-Productions “Conviction,” “Designated Survivor,” “Downward Dog,” “Imaginary Mary,” “Notorious” and “Speechless”

ABC Studios and ABC Signature Studios new season pick-ups resulted in 11 shows ordered to series, including co-productions. New drama “Still Star-Crossed” and new comedy “American Housewife” join returning ABC Studios shows “American Crime,” “black-ish,”

“The Catch,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “How to Get Away with Murder,” “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Mistresses,” “Once Upon a Time,” “The Real O’Neals,” “Scandal,” “Secrets and Lies” and “Quantico” for ABC. ABC Studios dramas “Code Black,” “Criminal Minds” and “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” were ordered at CBS. “Devious Maids” was renewed at Lifetime, and ABC Signature Studios drama “Dead of Summer” airs on Freeform this summer.

In addition, limited series event “When We Rise” is on the ABC schedule for early 2017.

In addition to the returning co-productions, “Dr. Ken” (co-production with Sony) and “Uncle Buck” (co-production with NBCUniversal), new co-productions ordered by ABC include “Conviction” and “Designated Survivor” (co-productions with The Mark Gordon Company), “Notorious” (co-production with Sony), “Downward Dog” (co-production with Legendary), “Speechless” (co-production with 20th Century Fox) and “Imaginary Mary” (co-production with Sony & Happy Madison).
