These three DVD’s feature nearly five hours of “Dora the Explorer” content and for the parents wanting more bang for the buck, you really can’t go wrong with this latest DVD box set release.

“Fairytale Adventures”, “Dora Saves the Snow Princess” and “Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom” are fun DVD releases for children and also parents who want to find DVD’s that can be educational for children. In these episodes, children learn Spanish language skills, musical/auditory skills, physical movement and decision making/problem solving skills.

My young son literally grew up in his young toddler years watching “Dora the Explorer” and through this series, it was very helpful in helping him develop skills on decision making and also learning a little Spanish.

I’ve been critical in the past of Nickelodeon children DVD’s not having any special features but this time around, all three DVD’s included special features and DVD remote (or PC button directional controlled) games for the children.

For the most part, your young children should be entertained by this release and with the theme of this box set centering around storybook adventures, there are a lot of make-believe exploration in these latest episodes and you are definitely getting your money’s worth, especially if you are children love this series or you are wanting a safe, fun and educational animated series for your younger children.

Overall, for the amount of episodes these box sets contain for a great price, “Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Storybook Adventures” is recommended!
