Happy Birthday Dora!! It’s the final episode in the Magic Storybook trilogy. Dora and Boots need to get home from Wizzle World! “Dora the Explorer – Dora’s Big Birthday Adventure” is presented in full screen and in Dolby Digital stereo. Animation features vibrant colors and dialogue is clear and understandable. Picture quality is good as these are newer episodes.
But overall, this is for the children and the picture and audio quality is colorful and vibrant. Some CG is utilized for the backgrounds and for the most part, picture quality is very good.

“Dora the Explorer – Dora’s Big Birthday Adventure” is a fun release for children and also parents who want to find DVD’s that can be educational for children. My young son literally grew up in his young toddler years watching Dora and through this series, it was very helpful in helping him develop skills on decision making and also learning a little Spanish.
In this DVD series, children can learn Spanish Language skills and also math skills such as “how many candles do you see?”, “how many balloons do you see?”, etc. Also, there are new songs for your children to learn and sing and also learning about the importance of friends plus other learning and problem solving skills that the popular children show is known for.
I’ve been critical in the past of Nickelodeon children DVD’s not having any special features but this time around, “Dora’s Big Birthday Game” is included. So, I hope more of these special features are included on future Nickelodeon releases and it would be good to have DVD-Rom content, may it be coloring pages and more games that revolve around the DVD theme. But definitely happy to see a game included with this DVD release.
Also, to celebrate Dora’s birthday, you get this pretty cool pop up sleeve cover when opened (like a book) and the characters of “Dora the Explorer” are featured. Also, included is an exclusive sticker sheet as well.
