David Arquette talked about his separation with wife Courteney Cox on the Howard Stern radio show.

Arquette talked about having sex with other women during their separation, including the woman he has been spotted with. Arquette said, “I did have sex with her one time, maybe twice… my sexual encounter made me feel pretty manly.”

“Part of the terms of out separation was that I was allowed to see other people and so was she.”

When asked if he and Courteney are having sex still, Arquette said, “We’re not having sex, and I completely understand. She’s in a place of wanting to be real and emotional. She’s an emotional being. She’s an amazing woman. If it doesn’t feel right, she doesn’t feel like bonding in that way.”

Arquette also addressed rumors that Courteney Cox has paired up with her co-star Brian Van Holt. Arquette said he doesn’t know if they have but that he sees there is chemistry there between them and called it an “emotional affair”.

As far as their trial separation, Arquette said, “She says that to me: ‘I don’t wanna be your mother anymore,’. I appreciated that. I respected that. I’ve been going to therapy. I’m trying to grow up.”

“She’s the greatest woman I’ve ever met … Now, yes, she’s got her issues. She tries to take on everybody’s problem. She tries to be the mother to everyone – that’s why she doesn’t want to be the mother to me anymore.”
