Beyonc̩ РFever (a J!-ENT World Groove Digital Single Review)

As I listened to the song more and more, enjoyed what Beyoncé was able to bring to this song.  Definitely something not typical from her or her other Sasha Fierce persona…but something a bit noir-ish, dark and sexy.

  1. Fever

With the promotion of Beyoncé’s fragrance “Beyonce Heat”, she did a cover of the popular song “Fever” (originally sung by Peggy Lee and covered by many artists).

At first, the single took a bit of getting used too because I’m so used to Peggy Lee’s version.  But as I listened to the song more and more, definitely loved that deep bass but for the most part, enjoyed what Beyoncé was able to bring to this song.  Definitely something not typical from her or her Sasha Fierce persona…but noir-ish, dark and sexy.

Granted, the song may be a bit too different from what her younger fans may be used too but for those familiar with the song, it’s not about trying to sound like the others who have sung it in the past, it’s about making it your own.  And Beyoncé did accomplish that.

The digital single of “Fever” by Beyoncé is available now from your online digital music store.
