This is the first volume of the “best of” of comedian Chris Rock’s HBO series “The Chris Rock Show”.  This DVD segments like the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, hosted by Rock and featuring “Black Guy,” “White Dude” and “Sista.” Coverage of rapper Pootie-Tang and his weird urban slang, Rock’s petition to rename a street in a all White Howard Beach avenue after Tupac Shakur. There is so much more that you will be entertained for an hour!

DVD REVIEW:
This DVD covers the earlier years of “The Chris Rock Show” on HBO.
Although the runtime may turn people off, that’s why the DVD is cheap (Note: Excluding tax, you should not be paying over $14.99 for this DVD).
This DVD features hilarious segments like Chris Rock going to an all white neighborhood and trying to get people to change the name of one of the rich area avenues to “Tupac Shakur”. That was hillarious. Others include the introduction of “Pootie Tang”. A man with his own urban slang! Then there is the CNN like segment on the Clinton/Monica Lewinsky situation from the perspective of “A Black Guy”, “A Sista” and a “White Dude”. Also, the TAXI confessions with Chris Rock disguised as a Taxi Driver is very interesting! Hillarious!!!
As for quality, since this is an HBO show, you can’t give it top notch video quality but it’s still pretty good. Audio is normal for a show and as for special features, just a Chris Rock biography.
This is the first volume of the DVD and I hope the second one has even more material!
A definite must-buy for fans of the show and of Chris Rock!
