Ani-Me Con 7.0 was held at the Big Fresno Fairgrounds on Saturday, March 17, 2018 – Sunday, March 18, 2018. Ani-Me Con is the biggest annual anime/gaming/sci-fi convention in the Central Valley.

This event is for bring all anime fan, sci-fi fans, TCG players, gamers, vendors, artists, musicians and the community together and showcase all the fine talents we have in the Central Valley and beyond.

Well, Ani-Me Con is back and bringing a lot of amazing talent with it. Voice Actors Sarah Anne Williams, Brianna Knickerbocker, Erik Scott Kimerer had panels and signing.

Ani-ME Con Staff made sure that the actors were very accessible to the fans and things were done in a good orderly fashion. They had a panel with the YouTube Sensation D-Piddy and he was in his best form.

Now I will have to admit the questions by the people the audience, may have been a little not entirely family friendly, D-Piddy did his best to keep his fans happy. It was great to see Nick Palma the Michelangelo of the ninja turtles. They also showcase the art of Christopher Cayco Artist and FX Artist Vinnie Lamborn.

Ani-Me Con featured amazing dance groups on the main stage, J.E.T. and The Corps Dance Crew. there was music and dancing performances by Mari Tsukino, Lovely Rushers, Paprika Mari and Idol Academy. Everyone did a really amazing job, performances were amazing.

A Special treat for me to see the Lovely Rushers and The Corps Dance Crew again. With after hours entertainment with performances by DJ Greenheart, RaveNation- Cesar Munoz, DJ Jeanettey and Live Band performance by Light of Mine.

Ani-Me Con attendance for 2018 was over 7,000+ attendees. I also heard that they sold out of all their VIP packages.

Each day of the event there were a lot of people there and there didn’t seem to be an issue with crowd control. I think the way the floor was lined out for the booth and tables, the people were able to move around the event without creating too much congestion.

If you have ever taken the time to come to this event, you are really depriving yourself and your family of a good time here in the Central Valley, if you are new to anime, don’t know where to start, this is not a bad place to do it.
