We all know that Amy Winehouse has been facing an uphill battle with substance abuse and trying to get the help that is needed in order to get back on the right track. But sometimes there are celebrities who think they are ready after a short stint at rehab but they just need more time off to make themselves better.
Unfortunately, Amy Winehouse learned the hard way when she performed in Serbia and stumbled throughout the concert, slurred her words, throwing the mic and stand around while performing and earning the audiences boos (and applause from her fans who were trying to support her).
Winehouse’s rep Tracey Miller confirmed with CNN that she has canceled her tour.
Miller told CNN, “Yes, Amy has cancelled appearances in Istanbul and Athens for the coming week,” Miller told CNN Sunday. “Despite feeling sure that she wanted to fulfill these commitments, she has agreed with management that she cannot perform to the best of her ability and will return home.”
