Bill Geddie, executive producer of the ABC’s Emmy® Award-winning talk and entertainment program, “The View” (live, 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET), announced today that Joan Rivers, Kelly Osbourne, Ali Wentworth, Jenny Sanford and Vanessa Williams will each co-host one show. This marks the first time that Ms. Sanford and Ms. Osbourne will co-host, although both have been prior guests on “The View.” Additional guest co-hosts will be announced in the coming weeks.
* Ms. Rivers, a frequent guest on the “The View,” co-hosts live, TUESDAY, APRIL 13. She has made a total of 20 appearances on “The View,” two as a co-host (7/31/07 and 8/9/07).
* Kelly Osbourne is confirmed to co-host, live, THURSDAY, APRIL 14, a first for the young actress/singer/model/designer and former “Dancing with the Stars” contestant. Ms. Osbourne made one prior appearance on 11/25/09, when she and Louis van Amstel, her partner from “Dancing with the Stars,” performed.
* Ali Wentworth co-hosts, live, TUESDAY, APRIL 20. Ms. Wentworth has made four prior appearances, twice as a co-host (7/10/07 and 9/21/09).
* Jenny Sanford, former First Lady of South Carolina, will co-host, live, TUESDAY, APRIL 27. Ms. Sanford made her first-ever guest appearance on 2/8/10, but this is her first time as a featured guest co-host. The former wife of South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford is the best-selling author of Staying True. Jenny Sanford filed for divorce after 20 years of marriage, saying that she and the Republican Governor couldn’t reconcile. Mark Sanford mysteriously disappeared last June and later publicly admitted to committing adultery. The Governor revealed he was having a year-long relationship with a woman in Argentina. Their divorce was finalized in March, 2010.
* Vanessa Williams returns to co-host, live, TUESDAY, MAY 11. Ms. Williams is promoting the new Broadway show, “Sondheim on Sondheim,” and will perform a number from the show with Barbara Cook. Ms. Williams has made five prior guest appearances, including most recently a guest co-host stint on 3/8/10.

FRIDAY, APRIL 16 – Fashion Friday with designer Donna Karan; celebrity photographer Timothy White.
