The hosts of “The View” will commemorate and honor “One Life to Live” (“OLTL”) with a special one-hour theme show FRIDAY, JANUARY 13 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon), hours before the daytime drama’s final broadcast. “‘The View’ Salutes ‘One Life to Live'” celebrates 43 years of love, passion, drama and intrigue of the generations of families of fictional Llanview, PA. Six-time Emmy Award winner Erika Slezak (“Viki Lord”) will serve as a featured guest co-host. Legendary creator Agnes Nixon is scheduled to appear, along with former “OLTL” alum Judith Light (“Karen Wolek”), Robin Strasser (“Dorian Lord”), Kassie DePaiva (“Blair Cramer”), Jim DePaiva (“Max Holden”), Robert S. Woods (“Bo Buchanan”) and Hillary B. Smith (“Nora Buchanan”). The show will also feature additional “surprise” appearances; exclusive, never-before-seen footage of the final taping; never-before-seen interviews with some of the special guest stars and returning cast members; an exclusive sneak peek clip of the final broadcast of “One Life to Live”; the last cast photograph, and special video taped messages from past stars. A musical montage will showcase some of the show’s most memorable moments. Guests are being announced regularly on the show’s official website abc.com/theview.
