THE TALK is seeing pink and blue as it celebrates “April Showers” with a special baby shower show guest-hosted by soon-to-be dad Nick Cannon, on Thursday, April 28 (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT), on the CBS Television Network. The show will feature an audience filled exclusively with expectant mothers who will receive shower gift giveaways worth nearly one million dollars. In addition, guest host Nick Cannon will dish on wife Mariah Carey’s pregnancy and the couple’s expectations for their new arrivals, pregnant celebrities Mel B and Tia Mowry will share stories about their pregnancies, and hosts/moms of THE TALK will share some fun baby talk related to their own personal experiences.
THE TALK, CBS’s new daily daytime talk show that examines topical events and contemporary issues through the eyes of five female hosts who are all mothers, airs weekdays (2:00-3:00 PM, ET; 1:00-2:00 PM, PT). THE TALK is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete and Leah Remini. Brad Bessey, Gilbert, who developed the show, and John Redmann are executive producers.
