Interview Marks the First Time the Retired Boxer and Barbara Walters Will Speak Since 1988 Bombshell Television Interview
Retired American boxer Mike Tyson is confirmed to make his first-ever guest appearance on “The View,” FRIDAY, MAY 7 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET) on the ABC Television Network. This interview marks the first time that Barbara Walters and Tyson will speak since her 1988 “20/20” joint interview with Tyson and then-wife Robin Givens. Tyson is promoting a new series for Animal Planet and a documentary of his life. He recently made a cameo appearance on the big screen in the hit comedy “The Hangover.”
“The View” features Daytime Emmy Award-winning hosts Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd. “The View” is broadcast in HDTV with 5.1-channel surround sound, and is now available to watch online daily at 4:00 p.m., ET/1:00 p.m., PT on the ABC Digital Full Episode Player at ABC.com.
