For fans of the long time Japanese ska band, Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, may have had the opportunity to follow the individual members and their solo careers. The keyboardist of the group, Yuichi Oki, released an album titled “Hitsujisan to Watashi” (ひつじさんとわたし) and features Oki performing various songs on his piano.
Each song has warmth and feeling of emotion such as tracks like “Mori no Ohanashi” (Forest Tale), “Song for Love”, “Eternal Memories”, “September Slow” and many more. And there are also several tracks sucha s thte title track “Hitsujisan to Watashi” and “Maze” which sound as if they can be used as a score to a silent film because of the emotions both songs convey and as if they are playing out a scene from a film.
Also, included in this album are two CD-extra videos featuring Yuichi Oki performing “Parasol” and “September Slow”.
