I’m always interested in hearing works from musicians and members of TOKYO SKA PARADISE ORCHESTRA and for Kawakami Tsuyoshi, I liked his works with incorporating reggae music to Japanese songs and featured on this album are very cool songs and covers of the original songs from his previous albums and albums of other artists.
There is a cool all-star line up of sorts with legend Wada Akiko and Takahashi Yukihiro and the reggae-fied versions of the original songs from BONNIE PINK and Arai Yumi are very cool and well done.
All in all, the music is top notch and definitely an album that has kept in rotation in my CD player for many months.
All in all, a very cool album worth checking out if you are a fan of Tsuyoshi Kawakami & His Moodmakers or Kawakami’s works in general. Definitely worth checking out!
