BURLINGAME, Calif. – AUGUST 9, 2012 – TECMO KOEI America today called fighters everywhere to action with the unveiling of the thrilling “Opening Declaration” trailer. Featuring the beloved cast of DEAD OR ALIVE, this trailer heralds the advent of the fifth Dead or Alive Tournament with a series of electrifying vignettes showcasing numerous fighters rising to the challenge. Hinting at the pulse-pounding action, drama and intrigue that surrounds the fabled tourney, the trailer sets the stage perfectly for the September 25, 2012, release of DEAD OR ALIVE 5. The game has received an ESRB “M” rating and final pack art is now available for media access.

Created by Team NINJA, DEAD OR ALIVE 5 will be published by TECMO KOEI America for the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. DEAD OR ALIVE 5 incorporates a variety of martial arts fighting techniques into its distinctive fighting style to create a powerful new generation of DEAD OR ALIVE combat.
