Epic Dragon Ball Z Turn-Based RPG Adventure Coming to North America

LOS ANGELES, Calif., (June 2, 2009) – Leading video game publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., announced today that Dragon Ball® Z: Attack of the Saiyans will be available in North America this Fall exclusively for Nintendo DS™. All new epic Dragon Ball Z adventure awaits Goku and friends as they confront the Saiyan threat.

For the first time in North America, fans of the series can enjoy an epic turn-based Dragon Ball Z experience. Help Goku and his Earth Defense Force allies tackle the ever increasing apocalyptic alien threat to their planet with martial arts action. In addition to taking place within the Dragon Ball Z lore, Dragon Ball® Z: Attack of the Saiyans will feature numerous never-before-seen alternate storylines which offer a new understanding of the Dragon Ball universe.

Dragon Ball® Z: Attack of the Saiyans features a three character party system where players can choose from Dragon Ball Z’s iconic roster of Earth Defense Force heroes including Goku, Kid Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Yamcha and Tien to tackle the sinister Saiyan threat. Unique to Dragon Ball® Z: Attack of the Saiyans, the team combo attack system enables players to combine the awesome might of each party member’s super martial art attack to inflict massive damage onto enemies. Also, each party member will feature character specific Ki Blast abilities which will be used to solve puzzles and unlock secrets in the game.

Additionally, Dragon Ball® Z: Attack of the Saiyans will offer a sub-mission mode where players are tasked to collect special items, including the legendary Dragon Balls, throughout the world to rescue innocent victims, right worldly injustices, and create general global harmony. Completing righteous assignments will offer major rewards with mysterious results.

    There’s really a lot of good games for Nintendo DS which is very rare with PSP, that’s the reason I’m sticking with my handheld. Will be looking forward with this Dragon Ball Saiyans, mec.. mec.. meccah! Good job!
