JUAN PABLO JOINS THE FOUR REMAINING BACHELORETTES IN THEIR HOMETOWNS, ONLY TO HAVE SOME OF THE FAMILIES QUESTION HIS INTENTIONS ABOUT THEIR DAUGHTERS’ FUTURE HAPPINESS, ON ABC’S “THE BACHELOR”

EXPLOSIVE DRAMA AND MAJOR SURPRISES MARK A TWO-NIGHT “BACHELOR” SPECIAL EVENT, WHICH KICKS OFF MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24, AND CONTINUES TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25

“Episode 1808” – A two-night Bachelor special event begins as Juan Pablo, still smarting from Sharleen’s sudden decision to leave, starts his exciting whirlwind trip across the country to visit the final four women’s hometowns, and continues his search to find lasting love. A nervous Nikki welcomes the Bachelor, but she still can’t seem to tell him how she feels about him. Andi’s family takes aim at her blossoming relationship with Juan Pablo, but will it destroy her chance at love? Renee shares a wonderful reunion with her son and the Bachelor, but she too struggles to find the words to describe her feelings for him. Finally, Clare shares a rare, intimate moment with Juan Pablo, bringing them closer until one family member threatens to ruin everything for the couple. The dramatic journey ends when he must make a gut-wrenching decision to narrow the field to three women – one of whom he hopes will be his future wife – on “The Bachelor,” MONDAY, FEBRUARY 24 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network. The second part of “The Bachelor” special event, “Episode 1809,” – the overnight dates — will air on a special night, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 25 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET).

Starting off in Kansas City, Missouri, Nikki puts Juan Pablo’s cowboy skills to the test by daring him to ride a mechanical bull. Seeing him so at ease in her hometown solidifies her feelings of love, but she still can’t tell him to his face. The Bachelor charms her family with his easy-going manner and good looks, but even with her family’s approval, will she gather the courage tell Juan Pablo she has fallen in love with him?

The Bachelor’s next stop is Atlanta where he will visit Andi, who also has a test waiting for Juan Pablo. She takes him to a shooting range for target practice. The real question is: will he score with her family? Tough questions wait for the Bachelor, as Andi’s father peppers him in a blunt cross examination. Will it sound the death knell for the couple’s relationship?

Juan Pablo’s emotional tour continues in Sarasota, Florida, as he meets up with single mom Renee, who has been desperate to be reunited with her eight-year-old son, Ben. Juan Pablo witnesses the tearful reunion and is introduced to Renee’s pride and joy. As Juan Pablo watches Ben play in a Little League game, he ponders whether he can picture himself as the boy’s stepfather. After he meets her parents, Renee still hesitates to tell him of her strong feelings for him. Will that indecisiveness cost her a rose?

Finally, the Bachelor travels to Sacramento, California where Clare waits for him. She shares heartbreaking memories of her late father with Juan Pablo in a rare, intimate moment of vulnerability and sensitivity. Everything goes smoothly until Juan meets Clare’s mother and sisters. One woman’s bombshell reaction makes a happy ending for the couple questionable.

Now, flying back to Miami, Juan Pablo must make his most difficult decision yet about which of the final four women he will send home. A tense, dramatic rose ceremony brings heartache to one devastated bachelorette. The three remaining ladies head to the exotic Caribbean island of St. Lucia as their romantic journey nears an end.

The four remaining women are:

Andi, 26, assistant district attorney, Atlanta, GA

Clare, 32, hairstylist, Sacramento, CA

Nikki, 26, pediatric nurse, Kansas City, MO

Renee, 32, real estate agent, Sarasota, FL

THE WOMEN FACE-OFF ON A SOCCER FIELD FOR JUAN PABLO’S AFFECTION, LOVE TAKES FLIGHT ON THE WATER, AND ONE BACHELORETTE HAS AN ATTACK OF EXTREME ANXIETY, ON ABC’S “THE BACHELOR”

January 14, 2014 by · Leave a Comment

The Bachelor Surprises the Bachelorettes by Cooking a Classic Venezuelan Breakfast Country Music Artist Billy Currington is Showcased in a Private Concert

“Episode 1803” – Cassandra draws the first one-on-one date after deciding to stay and give love a chance with the dashing Juan Pablo and goes on a water adventure she won’t soon forget. Will the soccer world ever recover? A group of ten women get to share the Bachelor’s love of soccer, but when they are split into competing teams for his attention on the soccer field, the claws come out. Chelsie, who is afraid of heights, is pushed to the limit on the pivotal adrenaline date when Juan Pablo invites her to take part in a tandem bungee jump in Pasadena. The couple will be rewarded with a private concert by country music artist Billy Currington. And Juan Pablo surprises the women in the mansion by cooking them a classic Venezuelan breakfast. The jealousy between the bachelorettes grows as the Bachelor cancels the cocktail party in favor of a pool party, and the rose ceremony proves more challenging, on “The Bachelor,” MONDAY, JANUARY 20 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

The youngest single mom, Cassandra, after anguishing about leaving her son behind, is rewarded with the first one-on-one date of the week. Juan Pablo takes the stunning former Detroit Pistons dancer on an oceanside ride in a super cool tricked out Jeep in Long Beach, California. But she is shocked when the Bachelor makes a sharp turn from the beach into the ocean and the vehicle is transformed into a water car. The couple spends a wonderful afternoon aboard a magnificent yacht and later, at Juan Pablo’s house, he cooks a romantic dinner for the two of them. Will sharing passionate kisses and a sexy salsa lead to Cassandra getting a rose? Or will she be sent home to be with her son?

Juan Pablo loves soccer, as the women are well aware, and now ten of them will attempt to show off their soccer skills when they arrive at the Stub Hub Center in Carson, California, the home of two-time Major League Soccer World Champions the Los Angeles Galaxy. After he demonstrates some of his signature moves while warming up with a few of the professional players, Juan Pablo splits the women into two teams and the ladies battle for his attention. But the real competition heats up at the after party when the women try to win the group date rose. Sharleen, Andi and Nikki all think their connections with the Bachelor are heating up, but are they?

The next day, Chelsie needs to face her fears as she learns her one-on-one date will be a tandem bungee jump with Juan Pablo off the Colorado Street Bridge in Pasadena, California. Will she be able to trust the Bachelor enough to take this leap of faith? Or will her fright squash the fun? Later, the traumatized bachelorette shares a romantic dinner with Juan Pablo at Pasadena’s City Hall. But to top it all off, the evening ends with the sexy couple dancing the night away to the songs of country music artist Billy Currington, who gives them a private concert. Will Chelsie need more courage to face the Bachelor’s decision on whether to give her a rose?

It’s the day of the rose ceremony, and an excited Juan Pablo heads to the mansion early in the morning to give the women a surprise. He cooks them a feast of a classic Venezuelan breakfast. But some women don’t have their “game face” on – which shakes one bachelorette’s confidence to the core. The Bachelor follows up the informal breakfast with another surprise: he is cancelling the cocktail party and putting an all-afternoon pool party in its place. The women clamor to get alone time with Juan Pablo with varying results. One woman is reduced to tears after a stressful day poolside and another emotional woman lets jealously get the better of her when she sees other bachelorettes who might have stronger connections with the Bachelor.

Juan Pablo finds it is not easy to decide who goes home, but at the end of the evening, 13 women remain  on the journey to become his soul mate and, hopefully, future wife.

The 15 remaining women are:

Alli, 26, nanny, Chicago, IL

Andi, 26, assistant district attorney, Atlanta, GA

Cassandra, 21, former NBA dancer, Rochester Hills, MI

Chelsie, 24, science educator, Columbus, OH

FAN FAVORITE JUAN PABLO GALAVIS SEARCHES FOR LOVE AGAIN ON ABC’S HIT ROMANCE REALITY SERIES, “THE BACHELOR,” WHEN IT PREMIERES ON JANUARY 6, 2014

November 20, 2013 by · Leave a Comment

Juan Pablo Galavis, the sexy single father from Miami, Florida, is ready to find love. He’ll have his own opportunity to find his wife and stepmother to his daughter when he stars in the 18th edition of “The Bachelor,” premiering MONDAY, JANUARY 6 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

With his Spanish accent, good looks, salsa moves and undying devotion for his daughter, Juan Pablo, 32, was a fan favorite on the ninth edition of “The Bachelorette.” Sadly, Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock couldn’t see a future with Juan Pablo and sent him home from Barcelona. Although he was blindsided by not getting a rose, the experience of being on “The Bachelorette” opened his eyes to the possibility of finding real and everlasting love. He witnessed firsthand how it worked for Desiree, deciding that he can’t give up on love and on giving his daughter, Camila, what she wants more than anything else in the world – a brother and a sister to complete their family. Juan Pablo is ready and hopeful that he’ll find love and the missing puzzle piece to fulfill his family here on “The Bachelor.”

Born in Ithaca, New York and raised in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, Juan Pablo is truly a citizen of the world. Growing up in Venezuela, he developed his passion for soccer and set his sights on one day playing professionally. Juan Pablo decided to return to his native United States to attend college and to keep pursuing playing soccer. Upon graduation, Juan Pablo fulfilled a life-long dream and became a professional soccer player in both Venezuela and America. While playing for Miami FC, Juan Pablo received some life-changing news when he learned that his girlfriend, Carla, was pregnant. Refusing to be an absentee father, Juan Pablo put his dream of soccer aside to focus on a more important goal, raising his daughter. Born on Valentine’s Day in 2009, daughter Camila Valentina Galavis will always and forever be Juan Pablo’s Valentine.

Juan Pablo took his responsibility as a new father seriously and began a new career in sports and entertainment consulting. Despite the success at his new career, Juan Pablo and Carla came to a realization that after two years, sadly, they were not meant to stay together. Ever since, Juan Pablo’s been looking for love. It hasn’t been easy for him as a single father trying to date, but that is why he signed up for “The Bachelorette.” Now, he is confident that he will find his soul mate and a lasting, love-filled relationship on “The Bachelor.”

Hosted by Chris Harrison, “The Bachelor” is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss and Martin Hilton are the executive producers.

“The Bachelor” is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format, with 5.1 channel surround sound.

From an authentic Thai market with unusual foods to a secluded beach surrounded by a rain forest to a sexy afternoon boat ride on Thailand’s sparkling waters, the dates are filled with passion and excitement as Sean continues to explore what his future would be like with each of these potential mates. At the end of the evening Sean will present each bachelorette with an invitation to spend an intimate night together in a “fantasy suite,” with the hope that she will accept. But will she? One Lucky Lady and Two Very Appreciative Girls Get the VIP Treatment From Sean at an Amusement Park Where Eli Young Band Performs a Private Concert

“Episode 1703″ – A potential record-breaking date for the world’s longest on-screen kiss gets Lesley M.’s heart all aflutter, while the claws come out at a very competitive volleyball group date that reveals some of the women’s true colors. Sean’s magical date with AshLee at an amusement park is shared with two girls who suffer from a chronic illness. The Bachelor has one more surprise for his date and the girls: a private concert by his favorite country group, Eli Young Band. However in the middle of this, one bachelorette takes a nasty fall down the mansion stairs – or is it just her way of getting Sean’s attention? Finally, Sean stirs up a shocking finish to the night right before the rose ceremony, on “The Bachelor,” MONDAY, JANUARY 21 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Lesley M. is on cloud nine when she get this week’s first one-on-one date with Sean, but she is stunned when the Bachelor shares with her that their date could go down in the Guinness World Records for longest on-screen kiss. The current record now stands at three minutes and 15 seconds. Will their passion be cemented in the history books? And will it be enough to secure Lesley M. a rose?

Sean surprises a group of women with what first seems like a delightful outing on a sun splashed California beach. It’s sexy fun in the sand until Chris Harrison reveals that they will divide up in teams and compete in a game of beach volleyball. The winning team spends the evening with Sean, while the losing team gets to spend the evening alone at the mansion. The competition is hot and heavy. At the after party, the battle continues for the date rose. Sean sees a different side of one woman when she uses her time to try and sabotage his relationship with two other bachelorettes. Will her scheme pay off?

The next day, as AshLee eagerly anticipates her individual date with Sean, another bachelorette takes a tumble down the stairs at the mansion. However, the women immediately become suspicious when the woman refuses medical help. Is it a ploy to get Sean’s attention? One thing is sure: AshLee is fuming that her date is getting cut short. When the couple finally heads to Six Flags Magic Mountain, where they have the park all to themselves, Sean reveals that he has offered to share the date with two young women who suffer from a chronic illness – Emily and Brianna from the Starlight Foundation’s Starbright World program, who are meeting for the first time. After the day of fun in the park, Sean has another surprise: a private concert by his favorite country group, Eli Young Band.

At the cocktail party, Sean makes one woman cry – but are they tears of joy or sorrow? And another bachelorette tries to do some damage control to keep a continuing relationship with the Bachelor. But one woman sets off a firestorm as she tries to steal extra time with Sean. A startling end to the evening lies ahead as Sean provides major fireworks before the rose ceremony. In the end, 13 bachelorettes remain to continue on the journey to become Sean’s soul mate and, hopefully, future wife.

The 16 women are:

This Marks the First Time Ever That a Bachelor or Bachelorette
Will Be Live Tweeting During a Premiere
Fans of ABC’s hit romance reality series “The Bachelor” will be able to submit questions and receive real-time responses from the Bachelor himself, Sean Lowe, who will be up on Twitter at @SeanLowe09 during the East Coast broadcast of this season’s premiere, MONDAY, JANUARY 7, from 8:00-10:01 p.m., ET.
On the premiere episode, “Episode 1701,” Sean, 28, the handsome business entrepreneur from Dallas, meets 26 potential soul mates as he begins his exciting search for true love. Sean prepares for the night of his life as the 26 beautiful bachelorettes, all clamoring to meet him, begin to arrive.
Jackie, a beautiful makeup artist, makes sure Sean will remember her, kissing him emphatically on the cheek. Robyn, an oil field account manager and former cheerleader, falls for the Bachelor right from the start, back flipping out of the limo — but tumbles right on her rear. Kelly, the attractive cruise ship singer, looks to her possible future with Sean and croons an original love song to him. Sexy Ashley P. stuns the Bachelor with her in depth knowledge of the bestselling novel, Fifty Shades of Grey, while pulling a tie out of her cleavage. And Lindsay is all ready to walk down the aisle, dressed in a bridal gown, and steals the first real kiss of the night.
Sean shakes up the night when he decides to hand out early roses to women with whom he has an immediate connection. But not all the women are that lucky and wonder how to impress him to get a coveted rose. Sarah reaches out with honesty and sincerity, not afraid to show her vulnerability. But Lindsay decides the best way to handle the situation is to come on strong.
Finally, after Sean’s first rose ceremony, 19 women will remain to compete for his affection and, in the end, his heart.
Chris Harrison is the host of “The Bachelor.”
