Sandra Bullock donates $1 million to the America Red Cross for Japan relief

There are celebrities who have been vocal on Twitter for people to donate and there are celebrities who are donating and possibly one of the largest celebrity donations to the Red Cross comes from actress Sandra Bullock.
Bullock has donated $1 million to the American Red Cross for those affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
The American Red Cross said, “This contribution is vitally important as the Red Cross works to provide critical assistance and essential relief items in this time of urgent need for so many people in Japan.”

Music sensations and TEEN CHOICE nominees Jason Derulo and Travie McCoy are set to perform at TEEN CHOICE 2010 airing Monday, Aug. 9 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Derulo will sing his chart-topping single “In My Head,” and McCoy will perform his smash hit “Billionaire” with Bruno Mars.
Hosted by Katy Perry, TEEN CHOICE 2010 celebrates the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, sports and fashion. Sandra Bullock, Robert Pattinson, Leighton Meester and Ashley Greene will join previously announced participants David Archuleta, Kristen Bell, John Cena, Miranda Cosgrove, Zac Efron, Victoria Justice, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Zachary Levi, Jim Parsons, Ryan Sheckler, Yvonne Strahovski and Shailene Woodley on the star-studded special.

Miami-born Jason Derulo has ruled the airwaves this year with three hit singles – “Whatcha Say,” “In My Head” and “Ridin’ Solo” – from his self-titled debut album. The 20-year-old singer, songwriter, dancer and actor became the first male solo artist to score consecutive No. 1’s on Billboard’s pop songs radio airplay chart in the chart’s 17-year history with his first two entries. His third single, “Ridin’ Solo,” quickly reached platinum status, while its accompanying video has already garnered 12 million views online. Derulo has sold more than 8 million singles and 600,000 albums worldwide, and was nominated for three TEEN CHOICE Awards. This month, he hit the road as support for The Black Eyed Peas in Canada and will then headline a U.S. tour that kicks off at the end of September.
Known as the charismatic frontman of alternative hip-hop band Gym Class Heroes, Travie McCoy recently released his debut solo album, “Lazarus.” The album’s first single, “Billionaire” (feat. Bruno Mars), was named one of the Summer’s Biggest Songs by Entertainment Weekly, has already earned RIAA-certified platinum status for sales exceeding 1 million units and was nominated for a TEEN CHOICE Award. McCoy first rose to stardom in 2006 as part of Gym Class Heroes, whose RIAA-certified gold album, “As Cruel As School Children,” featured the No. 1 hit, “Cupid’s Chokehold/Breakfast In America.” In 2007, the band was awarded Best New Artist at the MTV Video Music Awards and Choice Breakout Group at the TEEN CHOICE Awards. Gym Class Heroes is currently at work on their next album, which is due out next year.
Singer/songwriter/producer Bruno Mars burst on the scene this year with his chart-topping collaborations with Travie McCoy and B.o.B. Mars’ debut album is set for release this fall, and his current single, “Just The Way You Are,” is out now.

“NIGHTLINE” JESSE JAMES INTERVIEW POSTS RECORD VIEWERSHIP ACCORDING TO FAST AFFILIATES
BEST TOTAL SINCE 2005 RELAUNCH
HIGHEST NUMBER SINCE MARCH 2003
ABC News’ “Nightline’s” time period performance posted its highest total viewership since the program’s re-launch in 2005, according to Nielsen fast affiliate time period data for Tuesday, May 25, 2010. Featuring an exclusive interview with Jesse James, “Nightline’s” time period performance was 6.817 million Total Viewers, which marks the program’s highest Total Viewer delivery for a single night since March 21, 2003.
“Nightline’s” time period performance posted a 2.29 rating in Adults 25-54 and a 1.70 rating among A18-49. In comparison, NBC’s “Tonight Show” time period performance was 3.692 million Total Viewers, 1.43 rating among Adults 25-54, and 1.09 rating among Adults 18-49. The time period performance for CBS’ “Late Show with David Letterman” was 3.454 million Total Viewers, 1.21 rating among A25-54, and .91 rating for A18-49.
In addition to airing the highly anticipated interview with Mr. James last night, ABC also enjoyed a high performing night with the “Dancing with the Stars” finale.

It’s Over! Sandra Bullock files for divorce

In the latest issue of PEOPLE Magazine, Sandra Bullock tells the publication that she has filed for divorce and also that she has adopted a 3 1/2 year-old boy. Bullock tells the publication, “Yes, I have filed for divorce. I’m sad and I am scared.”
Jesse James has reacted to the divorce telling PEOPLE, “The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart.
“Sandy is the love of my life, but considering the pain and devastation I have caused her, it would be selfish to not let her go. Right now it is time for me to beat this addiction that has taken two of the things I love the most in life.”

Sandra Bullock issues statement about “sex tape” rumors

With the news of a sex tape featuring Jesse James and Sandra Bullock being posted online, Bullock was quick to make sure the rumors were squashed. The actress has issued a statement to PEOPLE Magazine and in the statement is the following from Bullock: “There is no sex tape. There never has been one and there never will be one.”

After allegations of Jesse James being unfaithful towards his wife, James has issued a statement to People Magazine. Here is an excerpt from the statement:
“The vast majority of the allegations reported are untrue and unfounded. Beyond that, I will not dignify these private matters with any further public comment.
“There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.
James goes on to apologize to Sandra and his children in the statement. Meanwhile, website RadarOnline.com has featured court papers featuring the ex-husband of the alleged mistress painting his former wife as “mentally ill”.
Sandra Bullock leaves Jesse James?

PEOPLE magazine has reported that a source has told them Sandra Bullock has left the home that she shared with husband Jesse James after reports of James infidelity.
RadarOnline.com interviewed the woman who had allegedly had an affair with James. The tattooed woman Michelle “Bombshell” McGee said that she and James had an affair for eleven months while Bullock was filming “The Blind Side” (a film which she has won multiple awards, including an Academy Award for).
