On October 4th 2010, we took Lemmy and his band Motorhead to a French bar.

Here, inspired by the laid back atmosphere and a slow, cold KRONENBOURG 1664, they played their legendary manic song, The Ace of Spades, at half the normal speed.

This year, the 14th edition took place in the exclusive London venue of Old Billingsgate. In total, 25 contestants competed for the prestigious title of Stella Artois World Draught Master. Chris Myers, hailing from the United States can call himself the brand new Stella Artois World Draught Master and now begins a journey to more than 10 different countries as an ambassador for Stella Artois®.

No music chart showdown between Take That and JLS

With Take That back together again, people wondered if their will be a music chart showdown between the group and the popular JLS. But it doesn’t seem it’s going to happen as the release of Take That’s single “The Flood” and album “Progress” will be released sooner due to demand.

The single will be released on November 7th, the album on November 15th. Originally, “Progress” was to be released on November 22nd which would coincide with the release of JLS’ new album.

The popstar Haiducii is arriving in Japan!

The international popstar Haiducii (Paula Mitrache) will stay in Japan
from 19 to 29 September 2010. She became famous worldwide in 2004 by the
song “Dragostea Din Tei”, a cover of romanian group O-Zone single. The
singer will visit the Country of the Rising Sun for about ten days,
reaching some of the most important places. Her music albums topped the
charts in many countries and sold, only in Japan, more than one million
copies. The song “Dragostea Din Tei” was translated into all world
languages, including Japanese.

«I listened with great pleasure even the japanese version of my song»  -
she said – «and I am very happy that my music has been an opportunity for
encounter amongst different cultures geographically so distant. This
journey in Japan is for me a great occasion to know better  a charming
country ».

Haiducii was born in Bucarest (Romania) but lives in Italy. She has
published many records and gives lot of concerts around the world. Since
several years she also deals with important social activities. She is
president of a Cultural Association  that promotes peace,  racial
integration, cooperation and  peaceful  exchange amongst peoples and
different cultures.  She is also honorary counsellor  of  romanian
Senator Viorel Badea, for which she operates as responsible for relations
with representatives of local and national authorities and

French New Wave director Claude Chabrol passes away

Claude Chabrol, a filmmaker known as one of the contemporaries of the French New Wave has passed away.

French Prime Minister Francois Fillon issued the following statement, “With the death of Claude Chabrol, French cinema has lost one of its maestros.

Thierry Fremaux of the Cannes Film Festival said, “Claude Chabrol is part of our national patrimony – for his films and also for his personality.”

RIP Claude!
