AKB48 to sing the theme song for art school

AKB48 has been chosen to sing the new theme song for Kyoto University’s Art and Design. It helps when the VP of the Art and Design school is AKB48 producer and lyricist Yasushi Akimoto and that the members of the group often wear designs from the students of the university. So, when the school requested for Akimoto to produce a school song, how can he resist?
The group will perform the new song on campus on September 19th.
