Hikaru Utada has dominated the charts for over a decade and has broken sales records in Japan. But in August, Hikaru shocked her fans by saying that she would be going on a hiatus in 2011 to focus on studying new things and experiencing things in this big world that she doesn’t know about.

On Wednesday and Thursday, she will perform her final concerts in Yokohama and on Wednesday, her concert will be simulcast on 64 movie theaters in Japan. For her fans globally, Utada will be shown online via Ustream.

The 27-year-old has not given a timeline of how long her hiatus would be but fans are showing interest all over the world in watching her final performance on Wednesday.
