I have not been disappointed by a LEGO Legends of Chima polybag release at all.  Each of the minifigure releases showcase a character with wonderful sculpting for the helmet and awesome detail.  And you really can’t go wrong with these releases being priced at under $4-5.

THE REVIEW:

Available at TARGET stores is the LEGO Legends of Chima – Frax’ Phoenix Flyer (30264).

Frax is a member of the Phoenix Tribe and is a pilot under the command of Foltrax.

Let’s first take a look at the LEGO minifigure.

As Foltrax and others are included with the LEGO Legends of Chima – Flying Phoenix Fire Temple (70146), this is the first in the Phoenix Tribe to have an orange head to match the wings.

As the set is quick to build, you get a few extra pieces when all is done.

Like other LEGO Legends of Chima minifigures, it comes with a crystal and also a helmet.  Frax also comes with body gear and features printing on both sides to showcase that he is a pilot.

The body gear holds the two wing pieces and when you remove Frax’ helmet, you see his stern face.

But still, you can’t help but like the crafting of this minifigure from his sculpted helmet, its colors and detail.

The Phoenix Flyer matches the colors of FRAX.  While it does look a bit basic, considering you are paying under $5 for this polybag, the Phoenix Flyer is interesting in the fact that it features parts in different colors that are not usually available in other sets.

But the basic flyer is easy to put together and I like the simplicity of it.

I have a theory of LEGO polybags (with minifigures) and that they are so quick to sale if you see them at retail and that if you see one, you best buy it ASAP!

And so far, I have not been disappointed by a LEGO Legends of Chima polybag release at all.  Each of the minifigure releases showcase a character with wonderful sculpting for the helmet and awesome detail.  And you really can’t go wrong with these releases being priced at under $4-5.

With Frax’ Phoenix flyer, the flyer itself is simple but the minifigure is definitely worth owning!  I really got lucky I found one at a Target store as polybags are hard to come by.  So, if you do see it at your retail store, definitely pick one or two up!
