Season two to premiere Thursday, December 8 with the show’s first rematch between Darth Vader vs. Hitler
CULVER CITY, CALIF., DEC. 8 2011 – Epic Rap Battles of History, one of the few original online series to garner more than 300 million views and more than one million subscribers in less than a year has been greenlit for a second season by next-generation media company, Maker Studios (www.makerstudios.com). Epic Rap Battles of History is a live-action music comedy series where historical characters settle their differences through rap battles. Past rap battles have included Napoleon Bonaparte vs. Napoleon Dynamite, Beethoven vs. Justin Bieber and John Lennon vs. Bill O’Reilly. The series stars the shows’ creators, popular internet personalities Nice Peter and EpicLLOYD. In its first season, the series averaged 20 million views per episode.
