“Avatar” surpasses 12-year old box office record held by “Titanic”

James Cameron’s “Avatar” has surpassed the reigning box office champ “Titanic” (also directed by James Cameron”). Hollywood.com has reported that in 47 days, “Avatar” has brought in $601,141,551 surpassing $600,788,188 held by “Titanic” within the last 12 years.
