Fans Celebrate E.T. at LA Film Fest Outdoor Screening

On June 15th, fans of Steven Spielberg’s classic and iconic film “E.T. The Extra Terrestrial” came out to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the film and the upcoming Blu-ray release at a free outdoor screening in conjunction with the LA Film Fest presented by Film Independent at FIGat7th in downtown Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles County Bicycle Coalition gathered dozens of bicyclists to pay homage to the film by recreating the scene featuring Elliot (as portrayed by Henry Thomas) riding his bike with E.T. while wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and riding their bikes to the entrance of the event.

The bicyclists and hundreds of fans paid tribute to the film by donning commemorative red sweatshirts as they watched the screening.
