The world’s largest HDTV

A spectator compares the size difference between two Panasonic televisions – the popular 42-inch Plasma and the new world’s largest HDTV at 150 inches. Both are on display today, Weds., October 1, 2008 at the New York Stock Exchange to help celebrate parent company Matsushita Electric Industrial Company’s global name change to Panasonic Corporation. The 150-inch Plasma Display showcases the future of high definition television technology, and is currently the largest flat panel to display 2k x 4k resolution – a picture resolution 4 times greater than current models available today which display 1080p resolution.
