Raised in the San Fernando Valley and played in the family band known as Rockinhaim with their parents, the trio who are in their 20’s can play guitar, drums and sing… and it’s their style of music that is generating a lot of buzz throughout the Internet.   Not just in the United States but also worldwide!

In the UK, BBC Sound of 2013 recently listed Haim as one of the top new bands to look out for in 2013 using data from 213 UK-based critics, broadcasters and bloggers.  The BBC Sound list has featured artists such as Michael Kiwanuka, Jessie J, Adele, Ellie Goulding, Keane to name a few.

All over the Internet, they have been compared to Fleetwood Mac, while their music is described on their wiki page as “nu-folk-meets nineties-R&B” and others call their music retro ’70s rock meshed with ’80s synth pop.  Whatever you may think of their music, it’s catchy, infectious and a refreshing.   With their debut album coming out early this year, expect to hear more of Haim in 2013!
