The dream lineup gets even deadlier with the addition of VIRTUA FIGHTER’s Indy Car bad boy and Jeet Kune Do master Jacky Bryant along with long time DOA fan favorite Ein, who returns in incredible fashion, showcasing stunning new character and costume designs. Team NINJA has also revealed two spectacular new stages and additional costumes and modification options for the ultimate Dead or Alive 5 package, a must-have for all fighting game fans.
Jacky Bryant, known as Blue Flash in indie racing circles, is the fourth fighter to crossover from the VIRTUA FIGHTER universe. Older brother to Sarah Bryant, Jacky has resolved to take down the mysterious organization J6 who has targeted Sarah. Entering a new type of battle, Jacky will collect information to prepare for the inevitable showdown with J6. Skilled in the art of Jeet Kune Do, Jacky brings his own style to the arena with mercilessly fast chains and combos forcing opponents to stay on the defensive.
Fan favorite, Ein makes his first return to the franchise since DOA2. Known as “The Iron Fist with a Lost Past”, Ein was discovered deep within the Black Forest of Germany without any memory of his past. Saved by a karate master, he eventually learned his true identity as Hayate, Kasumi’s brother, and of his kidnapping by DOATEC for the purpose of human research for “Project Epsilon”. However, whether his memory has fully returned is questionable. Ein is a well-rounded fighter ideal for fighters new to DOA whose deadly karate punches send opponents flying into walls and Danger Zones.
There are even more dynamic interactive stages in DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE with the reveal of “Lost World” and “Forest”. In “Lost World”, high above the clouds a battle rages atop a steep vertical stone cliff against a backdrop of distant waterfalls. Fighters must take extra caution in the deceptively serene stage riddled with hazardous areas of narrow footing and massive stone pillars that result in extra damage when thrown against. The second stage “Forest” takes fighters into the fall season in a dense forest replete with the beautiful hues of autumn foliage. Battling along a single road that gets increasing steep as it approaches the mountains, players will use elevation to gain a strategic advantage on their opponent.
Additionally, DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE brings a wealth of new costume and options to the DOA champions. Hitomi sports a new hairstyle with her new denim jacket and jean outfit. Kasumi’s new blue cardigan stands out against the red, orange and yellow tones of the “Forest” stage. Christie is likely to wield even harsher punishment outfitted as a police officer. The critically acclaimed survival horror title takes players back to events that took place between Resident Evil®4 and Resident Evil®5, revealing the truth about the T-Abyss virus. Featuring series favorites Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield, the action begins on board a supposedly abandoned cruise ship, the ‘Queen Zenobia,’ then moves to the mainland and the devastated city of Terragrigia. With limited ammo and weapons available, the race is on to survive the terrors that unfold.
Complete with high quality HD visuals, enhanced lighting effects and an immersive sound experience, the fear that was originally brought to players in Resident Evil Revelations on the Nintendo 3DS™ system returns redefined for home consoles. Furthermore, the home console version delivers added content that includes a terrifying new enemy – the Wall Blister, extra Infernal Mode difficulty level and improvements to Raid Mode such as new weapons, skill sets, and the added opportunity to play as Hunk and mysterious blonde Rachael. First introduced in the original version of the game, Raid Mode is an online co-op or offline solo mode where players level up their characters and earn weapon upgrades as they face hordes of enemies across a variety of missions.

Journey Takes Home 5 Awards!
LOS ANGELES, CA – The Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.), the non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and recognition of game audio, is proud to announce the winners of the 11th Annual G.A.N.G. Awards.
Voted and judged upon by the game audio industry and members of G.A.N.G., the finalists represent an array of the best audio in video games from 2012. A 75 person Advisory Committee helped in deciding each of the final nominees which included hundreds of hours of research, listening, watching and playing. Over 2,500 people representing over 30 countrieshave signed up as members of G.A.N.G. since its inception in 2002. The final winners, voted on by the general membership of G.A.N.G., included multiple wins for Journey. Other notable winners included Halo 4, Diablo III, Unfinished Swan and Far Cry 3.
The award show has become an annual tradition, drawing standing room only crowds and has become the centerpiece of the audio track at the Game Developers Conference. Characters in DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE continue to push a sensual yet realistic style, rendered in incredibly lifelike detail bringing every fighter to life in the heat of combat. The largest lineup in DOA history includes the first ever appearance of NINJA GAIDEN’s Momiji who utilizes the Hayabusa-style Aikijutsu taught to her by the master himself, Ryu Hayabusa. Soon to be announced additional characters will also add to the massive cast of fighters from DEAD OR ALIVE 5 which includes Ryu Hayabusa, Hayate, Ayane, Kasumi, Hitomi, Bayman, Christie, Lei Fang, Zack, Kokoro, Bass, Rig, Jann Lee, Helena, Lisa, Brad Wong, Eliot, Tina, along with Akira, Pai and Sarah Bryant from the Virtua Fighter series.
Along with a plethora of single-player modes including story mode, DEAD OR ALIVE 5 ULTIMATE will retain Online battles allowing players to compete head-to-head in a variety of playing fields and battle modes with another opportunity for fighters to improve their skills as they watch competitive matches.
