The only problem though is that although “Gunbuster” is an awesome anime, today’s fans are not so receptive towards older anime unless its “Akira” or a Miyazaki film.

But I really hope there is a Blu-ray release of the OAV series in our lifetime!

I was really really disappointed when I bought the blu-ray release to release so much of the orginal series was taken out and made into a two hour movie. Will there be a proper blu-ray release of the original longer series?
I could not get through 10 minutes of “Diebuster” so I really cannot say much about it.
