July 13, 2009 by

Today, Monday, July 13, 2009 at 8:00pm Eastern Time (5:00pm Pacific Time), again at 11:00pm Eastern Time (8:00pm Pacific Time) in the Meet & Brotatoes programming block, and re-airing several more times over the next month, FUEL TV will showcase the 2009 Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships.

More than 250 of the world’s best under 18 surfers take to the water in Salinas, Ecuador for the Quiksilver ISA World Junior Surfing Championships. In a unique look at this contest, Fuel TV follow three young surfers – Nat Young from the USA, Tanika Hoffman from South Africa, and Johnathan Chila from Ecuador – as they battle the world to bring home the Gold for their respective countries. In what is considered “The Olympics” of junior surfing, not only do the surfers strive for individual triumph, but more importantly for the prestigious team gold medal.

Don’t miss it, today at 5:00pm and again at 8:00 pm Pacific Time on FUEL TV.
