At a recent press conference for her first album with Universal Records, Regine Velasquez talks about her new album “Low Key”.
“Low Key” is another full-length album by Velasquez and many of the press said it’s quite mellow compared to her past albums and Velasquez agreed and that is how the album got its title.
When asked why she hasn’t released an original album yet, Velasquez said, “People like to hear something that they are already familiar with. So for me, I wanted to give our audience what they want. Plus, I happen to like all the songs. It’s an opportunity for me to do this also because these are the songs I used to listen to the radio, and wishing that one day, I’ll be able to have my own version. It has come true. ”
