Another unfortunate situation in Christina Aguilera’s tough 2011. This time, she and her boyfriend were arrested early this morning in West Hollywood.
Aguilera was arrested for public intoxication, her boyfriend Matthew Rutler was arrested for driving under the influence.
TMZ reports that Aguilera was “extremely intoxicated” and “unable to take care of herself”.
TMZ is also reporting that a source close to the singer has said they have been trying to get Aguilera into a rehab program for weeks.
